Police Training Services Company presents a wide variety of professional seminars to enhance the knowledge and skills of law enforcement officers. These seminars focus on all facets of police work including (but not limited to): Officer Involved Shootings, Tactics, Leadership, Terrorism, Command Post Operations, and Incident Command System (SEMS/NIMS). Through these seminars the officer will learn a myriad of essential police skills. These skills will provide an officer with a basic knowledge required to succeed and survive in the demanding field of law enforcement. All seminars are taught by professionals with numerous years of field experience.
ACTIVE SHOOTER/RAPID DEPLOYMENT

Police Training Services Company (PTSC) is proud to announce the seminar "ACTIVE SHOOTER/RAPID DEPLOYMENT"
This seminar is designed to provide responding officers with the ability to quickly assess a situation and determine the appropriate response. Officers will learn about the configuration and deployment of contact and rescue teams. In addition participants will be provided with the correct and safe way to move in hallways and on stairwells; room entries and clearing methods; areas of responsibility; shooting on the move; and how to deal with suspects when confronted. Officers will also learn officer down techniques and rescue operations. Students will discuss needed equipment and utilization.
In addition to the classroom presentation officers will be provided the opportunity to practice their skills. The two instructors are both veteran police officers. Recently retired Los Angeles Police Officer Todd Rheingold had thirty years with the Los Angeles Police Department and spent fourteen of those years on the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT). His fellow instructor is Officer Keith Bacon who has twenty-four years with LAPD and fourteen with SWAT. Both officers have made countless entries, trained literally thousands of patrol and SWAT officers and have been recognized as outstanding instructors.
Who should attend? Generally, any officer or leader who might be involved in an active shooter situation. Specifically, lieutenants, sergeants and officers in leadership positions or preparing to promote.

Police Training Services Company (PTSC) is proud to announce that the seminar, “POLICE LEADERSHIP” will be hosted by LA CLEAR.
Leadership is the art of influencing people relative to accomplishing a mission. The class is designed to present law enforcement leadership from a positive perspective. Leaders should be evaluated on their ability to motivate; their commitment to ethics; decision-making skills; and their ability to recognize their subordinates’ needs.
This seminar will cover the traits of a leader, styles of leadership, motivation, the role of a leader, ethics, the study of leadership through the review of major scandals and other pertinent topics. Instructional methods will include videos of selected leaders and a Hollywood movie depicting leadership principles. Handouts will be provided to supplement classroom discussion.
The instructors will be Art Ruditsky, retired Lieutenant, Los Angeles Police Department. Art has taught leadership for over 25 years. Critiques from his leadership classes are always outstanding. Joining Art will be Lt. Mark Stainbrook, Los Angeles Police Department. Mark is also a Lt. Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He has taught leadership worldwide for over twenty years. Lt. Stainbrook will utilize his unique perspective to present his “Leadership in the Trenches” presentation.
