The
founder and owner of P.T.S.C., Art Ruditsky was a Lieutenant with the Los
Angeles Police Department who retired after 30 years of service. Art's
previous assignments include Mobile Field Force Leader, Officer In Charge
(O.I.C.) of the Rampart Specialized Enforcement Group, O.I.C. of Hollywood Vice,
O.I.C. of Narcotics Group's Asset Forfeiture Unit, and many other assignments
throughout a wide range of L.A.P.D.'s diverse units and divisions, such as
Hollywood, Rampart and Newton. In addition to a Masters Degree in Criminal
Justice/Public Administration from the California State University Los Angeles,
Art served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
Through out his
career with the L.A.P.D. and the U.S.M.C., Art has been involved with the
training of law enforcement officers and has drawn on his vast experience to
develop P.T.S.C.'s distinctive curriculum. Art has taught literally
thousands of law enforcement officers throughout the western United States,
including the Los Angeles Police Academy, Federal, State, and County municipal
agencies and innumerable police departments. Art's areas of expertise
include leadership training, officer survival, crowd control, community policing
programs, handling personnel issues and officer discipline, tactical operations
and multi-agency coordination.
